בעל 20 שנות ניסיון בשיווק ופיתוח עסקי בתחום האלחוטי. לפני שהצטרף ל- Waze עבד כיועץ אסטרטגי עצמאי, שימש כסמנכ”ל שיווק בחברת Openwave, ומילא מגוון תפקידים בכירים בתחום ההנדסה וניהול מוצר בחברות Celltrex וקומברס.

פרופ’ שרית קראוס – מבין 50 הנשים המשפיעות בישראל

פרופ’ שרית קראוס, מהמחלקה למדעי-המחשב באוניברסיטת בר-אילן, נבחרה להיכלל ברשימת 50 הנשים המשפיעות בישראל לשנת 2012 על-ידי מגזין “ליידי גלובס”.
 
 הנימוקים לבחירה:
מפתחת סוכנים וירטואליים לניהול משא ומתן בין אנשים, חברות ומדינות, ולשיפור טיפול בחולים. פיתוחיה נמצאים, בין היתר, בשימוש התוכנית האירופית להכשרת אסטרונאוטים ובשדה התעופה של לוס אנג’לס.
 
מהיכרותי האישית עם פרופ’ שרית קראוס בהיותה המנחה שלי לדוקטורט, אוכל להוסיף ולציין שהיא אחת הנשים המרשימות ביותר שיצא לי להכיר. זכיתי להיות סטודנט שלה וכבוד גדול נפל בחלקי לחקור עימה.

Paper acceptance to WCO 2012

Our paper was accepted to WCO 2012, Workshop on Computational Optimization, part of FedCSIS 2012, Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information.

About WCO 2012:
Many real world problems arising in engineering, economics, medicine and other domains can be formulated as optimization tasks. These problems are frequently characterized by non-convex, non-differentiable, discontinuous, noisy or dynamic objective functions and constraints which ask for adequate computational methods.

The aim of this workshop is to stimulate the communication between researchers working on different fields of optimization and practitioners who need reliable and efficient computational optimization methods.
