I was invited to give a talk at The second Workshop of the Israeli-Turkish OR Societies (WITOR2). The workshop is hosted by Recanati Business School at Tel-Aviv University (Israel) and will take place on October 27-28, 2013.
Talk title: Optimization of Battery Life in Electric Vehicles
The workshop is planned as a dual workshop hosting both research sessions and industrial/business tracks. The research track will focus on theoretical modeling in OR as well as novel algorithmic applications to specific OR problems. The industrial/business track will focus on applications of OR and highlight new research challenges to advance the understanding of practical issues. Hopefully, the workshop will trigger further exchange of ideas in applying OR to solving real world problems between the academic and practitioners communities and strengthen the professional connections between members of the two societies.
